Re: being a teenager.
Hello,
ALL teenagers feel what you are feeling, so when you see some that look very confident and have it all together, they are just as insecure with themselves as the others. I know that I felt that way....that I was different....and less worldly and mature that the others.....so I thought. Anyway...what is "normal"?? we are all wonderful, unique beings, one cannot put the word "normal" in a box somehow and use it as a measurement tool for each other. We need to celebrate our diversity and gifts and brillance that every single one of us has. Today, many of those same people who I admired are going through their struggles now. I worked out a lot of my emotional struggles earlier in life. I am still working on myself, the work in never done, life is a process, not a destination.
I would definately recommend seeking out a Reiki class in your area. It was the introduction to the world on energy for me 13 years ago and it speeded up my process of clearing old stuff, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It was a major turning point in my life. Also, check around.....I am a Reiki master and many of the master level teachers charge different prices. You may find a class that you can more easily afford. If you cannot find a Reiki workshop, don't limit yourself. There are other energy modalities that are as good and better. You will be lead to the one that is right for you. (when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.)
It is very good that at such a young age you are beginning your journey of "looking within" for your answers.
Blessings and peace.....
