First of all, limit the number of people you tell that you are on the
Master-Cleanse (maybe just those in your household). Alot of people don't understand how this works. (Some personalities will try to tease or sabatoge your efforts.) You will be more prepared to explain once you are through and off the fast.
To lose weight, the
Master-Cleanse recommends each day 6 glasses of lemonades (8-10
oz water, 2 T. lemon juice, 1 T. maple syrup - grade B, and a sprinkling of cayenne).
If you really feel you have a strong addiction to food, I would plan to drink about 8 to 10 glasses the first few days (to keep you from getting hungry). Sip on them when you are tempted.
Every morning, I would make a pitcher of all the lemonade I would need throughout the day (minus the cayenne, just sprinkle it in each glass as you pour it). And make a big pitcher of water (1/2 your body weight (pounds) in ounces). Make sure the pitchers are empty by the end of the day. Every hour, drink a glass from one pitcher, then the next hour drink from the other. You don't have to be strick about it...by all means, if you want more water, drink up.
Depending on how overweight you are, you will probably need to go at least 10 days. There will be some days you are very energetic and might not be hungry enough to drink all your lemonades, but they are what is cleansing your cells so try hard to drink it all.
I suggest not going past 40 days.
