My apologies, I fear I posted links to some fairly drastic sites because they had more detailed information. The end of the last link is probably more helpful. It shows the various thoughts and opinions of individuals who have floaters. I've had floaters since I was a child, and found them amusing. I also looked for them on occasion, and would entertain myself by 'chasing' them around or trying to catch them before the moved. Hahaha. Well, I would say, in general they are harmless and should not cause you much alarm. The other symptoms described in the links could actually occur with or without floaters being present, and should just be kept in mind for reference.
