lots of things can affect the eyes. Don't really believe the sunblock theory though, although sun itself can heal the eyes to a certain extent. Has your mother recently changed her diet at all? different foods can aid the eyes as well, some directly and some indirectly stengthen the liver etc which means less toxins in your body which can improve eyesight also... what was her eye presc. previously and what is it now? Not sure if I helped much, but I wish your mother luck. Please keep in mind that the reason people, especially opt. are so disbelieving that eyesight can change so much is that they don't have scientific proof that your eyesight can be healed naturally and any body who says so, is usually quickly quietened because it would be bad for business etc.
