unfortunately, my father has developed the condition the western docs call temporal artitis. vision "gone" in one eye and recent very short attack in the other.
they have him pumped up on steroids unfortunately, and are saying that he will have to be on some dose of it forever.
I was thinking about sending him some schulze eye wash, but am a little worried that it might cause increased swelling to the temporal vessles which could make the situation worse.
this is what he has: http://www.stlukeseye.com/Conditions/TemporalArteritis.asp
any info about the results of eyewashing in such situations or any other advice is kindly appreciated.
