Re: dry tired sore eyes, are these due to contact lenses?

I just saw your post. I am suddenly having the same thing happen with my eyes. I am 38yrs old and also have been wearing daily wear contacts for many years. My eyes are always red and feel especially tired at night and dry. It occurs often when I am on the computer also , I have noticed. I also have bad allergies and have rubbed my eyes hard in the past. I was thinking of visiting an eye dr as well, but we are living in Italy now for awhile so it is not so easy. PLus, after reading your post, I gather the doctors do not help so much. I understand your fear of the lazer surgery. I have thought about that as well...and the eyes seem so sensitvie to me.

Have you found anything that has helped her? Did you decide to have her do the surgery. This must be very difficult with her also because she is so young. Any input would be great, and if I find any information I will certainly pass it on.
