I am also an RN, for the past 9 years - graduated when I was 37. I am finding that some RNs are at the forefront of the alternative health movement. For example, if you search hacres.com, the Hallelujah Diet, probably 60 plus % of the folks who have gone through Health Minister training are RNs. There are some MDs, some dentists, and a lot of lay folks. I think RNs see first hand (if they are willing to come out of denial) how very limited and inadequate the current system of medical practice can be, and some MDs do as well.
