Can calories in olive oil cause weight gain? I would think not but need accurate info

Hi everyone,

I was telling my sister about the flushes. She has gastritis and would probably be helped by a flush or two or three... Anyway, she wanted to know if one could gain weight from drinking all that calorie-heavy olive oil. I suspect not, but really don't have knowledge on this subject. I would guess that most of it is expelled during the flush before it can be absorbed by the body for nourishment. Does anyone have any proof that my hunch is correct?
