Atkins say one time that ketone readings are not the hear all end all of a healthy Diet ! If you are feeling better and losing inches or fitting in smaller size clothing and you vital signs are all improving that is what is important! So if you are doing well in all these other signs than not to worry about the ketone sticks! If however you are not improving or actua;lly getting worse you may have a "metabolic imbalance that is preventing you from getting better on a low carb diet or which is sometimes the case you may not be suited for this type of diet!
