Not true...have you read the Atkins book?? You are not in starvation mode. How could you be..food quantities are not limited....quality..yes. I never feel hungry on Atkins and certainly don't lose muscle mass. How could you lose muscle mass when you are feeding your body protein which is what your muscles build from?? Certainly the extra lbs some of us carry around is fat--which comes from not eating properly and not exercising--that is what I want to lose--not muscle. I do appreciate your response but I am surely not starving myself. That is the last thing you could ever do on Atkins!! Hope you have a nice holiday!!
