I have a very tough time losing, even on the Atkins program, so I tried the "fat fast" mentioned in his book and on his website, eating 1,000 calories per day, 90% of them from fat. Did great , lost 7 pounds. THEn.....a friend made some country style ribs on the grill Friday night, ate a couple of those, next morning was UP 5 POUNDS.....thought it must be bloating from resuming eating, had to go away......nope. still at that same weight. Anyone else have a weird experience like this? I KNOW it would be physically impossible to gain 5 pounds of fat back overnight, so it was either all water loss, or I am really physically messed up!!
