What I Did for Systemic Candida

I went on the Dr. Atkins Diet for 2 months and have lost 10 pounds.
He has a good chapter on Candida and it explains it all. I tried Caprylic
acid and now that I have cut out Sugar 100 percent I feel better. I
switched to Splenda instead of Equal and feel a lot better. We go to the
buffets alot and I eat loads of protein now and never feel deprived. Also
I have switched to Sugar free desserts there and have cut out most fruits
and vegees. i know this is ok since I am a Type O blood Read Dr. DAdamos
book .Eat Right for the Blood type and we have found answers in
Perscription For Nutritional Healing Book but none is so good as the Dr.
Atkins Explanation. I must take my acidophilus. Several at a meal because
I have had too many Antibiotics in life and this I believe has caused my
candida problem in the past. Candida feeds on Sugar and most
carbohydrates turn to sugar when you eat them. I am trying to avoid
diabetes and finally after 50 years I can eat and eat lots of protein. We
go to the casino and I load up on meats... Just read the book and your
digestion will improve if you are a Type O Blood..We have bought the
Encyclopedia for Eat right for the Blood type and my husband is an A
Blood and so far it is true. We both have a reaction to Aspartame and my
husband has a cortisol response to Sugar Colas that makes him have high
anxiety. Coca Cola is constipating. so we are trying to cut out this.
Hope this helps.

Betty-Anne
