Tried enema to stop pain, didn't work.

Can someone help me to see what I can do better better success with the enema. I had my 3rd attack 2 nights ago, and since I have had a dull pain in my gall bladder and almost constant heartburn.

From what I read, enemas are good to do before a flush and a way to stop the pain.

I tried a coffee enema. One of the enemas said to put the tube in 10-12 inches. My kit has a nozzle that's about 5 inches, that I used. Should I take that off? I can't imagine putting the tube in alone. I did 2 cups of coffee, 1 cup at a time, holding it for 10 minutes.

I don't feel like I had very much come out. Mostly just coffee. I haven't felt any release in my gall bladder or any decrease in discomfort for that matter.

I'm thinking right now, my only option is to flush. It's too late today, but I could do it tomorrow. I was hoping to do more of the preparation beforehand.

You're advice is greatly appreciated!
