Any way to shorten duration of FS

I've just read that it takes anywhere from 2-3 years to get rid of frozen shoulder. I've had severe pain starting in January, although some of the symptoms started mildly in October. Right now my left shoulder is frozen with the same symptoms starting in my right. There is a 3-4 inch difference of extention between my left and right arm, when raised over my head. This is really starting to take it's toll on me. I am waking constantly because the pain worsens at night, towards the morning. Daily, I use tylenol, muscle relaxant's, hotbaths, water bottles, stretching exercises and massage to help with the pain. These measure only give minimal relief. I also tried acupuncture and ended up with a burnt shoulder and have 2 remaining scar marks where the needles were inserted. ( I think their heat lamps were too hot for me) I won't be going back to them. Nothing that I do takes FS away, only helps a little to ease the pain. How on earth, am I suppossed to deal with this for 2-3 years? Does the pain also stay for this amount of time or does it ease? Hey, any encouraging words or tips may help to make this better. Thanks
Gracie
