Asian Words of Wisdom

Back when I was 17 yrs. old in high school, I ran down to the Grenwich Village in N.Y.C. after school with my girlfriend.
We were inside a Japanese import store looking at all sorts of novel doo-dads when my eye fell to some interesting little scrolls. There were 12 different kinds designed for each one of the signs of the zodiac. In those days I was into that kind of thing, so I unscrolled the corresponding one for me.
In it was written a little verse that has always stayed with me, and has made me bite my lip more often than anything else I've read in my life:

"The responsibility of tolerance always falls on the
individual with the greatest vision"
