Deva Premal, best known for her top-selling CD's, is a clasically trained musician and gifted singer, who grew up singing mantras as lullabies in a German home permeated with Eastern spiritualality. Her latest album, Dakshina, leapt to Number 1 on the Amazon New Age chart on the first day of its release. Miten, originally from England, was a singer-songwriter in the 70's, opening for such acts as Fleetwood Mac and Lou Reed. He later discovered the power of meditation and left the rock 'n' roll world behind, and now prefers to focus on his spiritual path, which is reflected in his meditative, joyful and sensual songs. Deva and Miten met at an ashram in India, and their music arose from their love of their guru, Osho, and through their meditative experiences in the ashram.
