Re: Praying for a sick doesn't improve the patient's health, new study of 1,802 patients
I question why they felt the need to do this study in the first place-- especially in this troublesome time with all the natural disasters and threats of plagues hovering around us all.
Prayer doesnt change anything in itself-- only the Creator does. I personally believe SOMETIMES God chooses to permit an illness to remain for an inner spiritual reason for that person. Sometimes the person's time on Earth is only meant to be for a limited time and the disease is to prepare their spirit. Don't expect
Science to acknowledge that.
I hope someone posts this topic over at the
Ask Andreas Forum . They'll get some pretty deep awesome responses regarding this from Andreas, because sometimes sufferings and illnesses have a deeper purpose -- and only until that purpose is dealt with (the root of the problem) does God restore the physical.
Sometimes God is already answering prayers for that person by healing the person in their spirits first before the results are seen on the body.
I know for a fact that God answers prayer-- I've had evidence of this right in my face-- literally! I can share several personal accounts if anyone wants me to.
I've also had experiences where the answer was not to my liking- and I still had to suffer, but then afterwards, I saw that the suffering produced a greater healing in the end.
The ways of God will never make sense to mankind--but look how much mankind has screwed up by trying to take matters in it's own hands!
