Education & Jobs in Alternative Medicine

Could you please open the new discussion board which deals about the educational options to become an alternative health practicioner (both in USA and Canada) as well as the job availability and salaries. Personally, I am interested in Nathuropathic Medicine, Nutrition & Iridology although the other fields sound pretty interesting, too. I would like to hear other people's experiences in finding a job in these and other fields (public sector and self-employment). Currently, I am working in technical field full time and do not have much information about part time studies and jobs availability after the completion of studies. Does anybody have any suggestions and advice how and where to start, what I can expect after the graduation etc. I know that there is International Academy of Natural Health Sciences here in Ottawa and they offer the courses which lead to: Natural Health Councelling Program; Nutrition Counsellor; Certified Homeopathic Counsellor; Certified Iridologist to name a few. I got a little confused about which program to take (ideally, I would take them all :-)) From your experience, which of these and similar occupations you find the most attractive and in need? What are your expectations regarding the growth of these field in the future knowing that traditional medicine and pharmaceutical industries most likely will not give up their positions....
