Help! Small pieces of foods get stuck in the tonsil.

Hi,

Has anyone here ever had the experience of
things getting stuck in the tonsil (two sides
in the back of your mouth)? For me this happens
once every few months, and it is very
annoying (not painful, but the stuck food gives
aweful smell and is hard to get out without
hurting the tonsil--bleeding). I tried to remove
the stuff with cotton q-tip (this works, but not
completely). Is there any better ways?

Any suggestion will be much appreciated.
