Re: crohns diahrrea, NETTLE LEAVEs
In some Crohns sufferers, there is an allegy response which results in production of histamine. Many people with crohns cannot break down histamine effectively, and so end up with too much. Nettles help as they are a natural anti-histamine. So are Rooibos and Quercetin and Vitamin C.
'Some people with Crohn's disease have
food allergies and have been reported to do better when they avoid foods they are allergic to. One study found that people with Crohn ' s are most likely to react to cereals, dairy, and yeast. Yeast and some dairy (cheese) are high in histamine, which is secreted during an allergenic response. People with Crohn ' s disease lack the ability to break down histamine at a normal rate, so it is possible that the link reported to yeast and dairy may not be coincidental.'

I was really interested to read your post, because I have been recently looking into this myself, as I had read about the connection between Crohns, allegies and histamine. Another important factor is to keep well hydrated.
I am going to give Nettles a try too, so thank you for this post. I'm glad they are working for you.
