Thanks for your response. My son left the function generator and a cheat sheet for the settings with me. When you say "use it with caution" what do you mean? Things like don't use it in the bathtub, or something more obscure? I was a little leary, knowing it was running on 110 current, but he said there was no danger. If you feel there's anything I need to know, please let me know. OK?

Also, you said you had experimented with one before. As a Zapper? Can you tell me your conclusions? I'd appreciate any information. Although my son is an electrical engineer, he says since he's had no experience with Zappers, he's operating more or less in the dark.
