I did it!
Last spring I started taking the Shultze Liver/Gallbadder cleanse and in a few months (two or three) I started getting concerned about the liver pain I was experiencing.
I went into the doctors office and they found my liver enzymes were high. I told them I had been taking an herbal liver cleanse and they told me to get off it IMMEDIATLY.
My brother who is a conventional doctor started telling me horror stories of what it meant when your liver enzymes were high and printed off all this "info" for me about the danger of herbs.
So since my skin was taking on a yellowish cast and my liver hurt so bad, I quit the herbs out of fear. I was angry a Shultze for making herbs that could jeprodize my health!
Qutting that tincture was the stupidest thing I've ever done.
After quitting it, I suddenly started to feel GREAT! I mean, really GREAT! My allergies to foods melted away and I was able to tolerate more carbs and grains and natural sugars!
My digestion improved quite a bit and I had so much energy! I was actually going for 17 mile bike rides last summer!!!
However, over time, I have slowly gotten worse and worse since last summer. It took me forever to figure out WHAT I was doing last summer that was putting me into such a healing mode! (Was it the yoga? The gemstones? The supplements? The weather? The fact that my boyfriend was out of town for the summer? The herbs?)
I was doing too many things last summer that could have accounted for the change, and unfortunately, the herbs I was too frightened to try again.
The doctor I am seeing now told me that what I experienced last summer was a healing crises from the cleanse. He also told me that The Schultze liver/gallbladder cleanse and the Olive oil/citus juice cleanse are BOTH very important, but have different purposes.
He said that the OO/CJ one is more for improving bile function and the herbal one is for opening up the pathways in the liver.
Come to think of it, this seems to parallel pretty much what you said, Raider! After all, it's the gallbladder that makes the bile, right?
So he says it's important to mix it up. He is a Neurologist and a chiropractor who cured himself of muscular dystrophy via
colonics and liver cleansing. He's a very knowledgable man on this subject, and the Mayo Clinic actually sends a lot of "Last Resort Patients" too him with great success.
So I guess it's not too surprising that I am awaiting an order of the LGB cleanse as well as the Detox formula --which Schultze says to take with the
Liver Flush since it scrubs out your lymph system.
Happy cleansing! Scarlet
