Re: can I chew gum
I haven't seen my sweetie in a week. We're finally getting together for this weekend where we intend on playing house. I'm looking forward to this very much as you can imagine. HOWEVER, I'm on day 2 of the cleanse, I'll be seeing her on day 4. There is no way I will neck with her with bad breath. No! Nopers! Not going to happen. I figured there are three safe things I can do to remedy this while on the cleanse that do not include chewing gum.
1) I can drink mint tea as recommended on several threads including this one (just bought a box of organic at the local mom & pop health food shop today!).
2) I can brush my teeth and tongue -ALOT!!!
3) And one other thing that I hope someone can comment on so that I’ll know if this is cool or not. I have a couple of sampler bottles of Tom's of Maine mouth wash. I already use their toothpastes, could I just give my mouth the occasional swig of Tom's mouth wash, spit out, rinse a wee bit with water so the mint isn't overwhelming, the yell, "come to Papa, Sweetie pie?" Consider, their product is alcohol and saccharin free. Yes, they use witch hazel as an astringent but otherwise they use “pure essential oils for refreshing flavor” along with Vit. C and aloe vera. And keep in mind, I’m not swallowing the stuff, it’s just a swig, how can it be any worse than brushing my teeth, no? What do you think? Thanks!
