Re: Dental Amalgam and Colitis
"Has anybody had their
Amalgam fillings removed and had their colitis improve as a result?"
Probably not. There may be a correlation to the mercury that has seeped from your teeth into your body that accumulates with all the other toxins we are exposed to make your immune system weaker. Susceptible to UC, or any other disease.
In my case, the first UC attack was probably 35 years or so ago. Then my next was maybe 3 years ago, and the last was within the last year. My dental work was completed over 4 years ago, so in my case the mercury
Amalgam in the teeth weren't a factor. I did manage to rid myself of a host of other medical problems by having the dental work done, so I urge you too get that done ASAP.
The first of the two most recent attacks came after I started trying to detox my body of the mercury, parasites, viruses, etc. I think I brought to the surface crap that had settled into the tissues of my organs, and body that my immune system couldn't handle. I say this because along with the UC attack, I had a mouth full of canker sores that I never remember having before. The doctor said there was no connection, but she's the same doctor that tells me it's not known what causes UC, so how would she know?
I hope that what I have told you don't make you put the dental work on the back burner because you will definitly see an improvement of your over all health when completed.
Maybe to help with the costs, you could do the Dr. Morales in Tijauna route. People who have been there praise his work, and it is a fraction of what you will pay here in the US. Just do it.
