In response to your request for definition of flurescense:

I'm speaking about fluorescent backlighting in LCD monitors.

Also phosphors in very new CRTs.

It doesn't even help to dim them.
Many other so-called solutions do not help either. I've de-bunked them on my site.

Once a person has been over-exposed, depending on his/her make-up, he/she develops an intolerance.
