Re: Making my own glyconutrients -

Hi Looking for Good Health (Aren't we all),

You ask some good questions, and I should have elaborated further in my initial message. The arabinogalactan and the manapol are easy enough to find on the web. Likewise, Cargill's glucosamine HCL can also be found through a third party distributor called "Prescription 2000". The rice starch can only be purchased in bulk form from A&B ingredients but you don't really need it. I got a sample through a friend who owns a baking business, but they won't sell to you unless you are a commercial entity. Just use the corn starch, it'll work fine. Now on to the gum tragacanth and ghatti. The tragacanth you can find on the web. I received a sample of AEP's tragacanth and ghatti also through my friend who owns a baking business. I am almost out of the samples and I may or may not order it in bulk form through my friend. I have to order a lot and it probably isn't worth it. You can find other third party sources for food grade tragacanth (Wellness Solutions is one and Grandma Gertie's Cooking Supplies is another). The gum ghatti, however, is a problem and almost impossible to find on the internet. I would, however, simply substitute gum acacia for the ghatti. You can find food grade gum acacia on the internet as well. I will come up with more sources as well as things progress. Good luck.
