Hi. I'm new to this subject. Several doctors have said I need gallbladder surgery but I don't want that. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me the answers to some GB questions. I read that Gallstones are formed in the liver---but if one gets his GB removed and the liver continues to make these stones, WHERE do they go? Do they just sit in the liver from then on, clogging it up or what? Someone else said the bile just drips onto or into the intestines after surgery, but that seems a very "bad idea" due to the irritating nature I suppose of this bile material. Thank you.
