Re: In Jesus' name

ev, have you heard of Methycillin Resistant Staph Aureus? in the medical community, it's also known as MRSA (pronounced "mersa"). Methycillin was a popular Antibiotic until the 80's, when, all of a sudden, it wasn't working to fight infection anymore. you know why? because the organism which it was created to fight had - hold on to your knickers - EVOLVED!!! EVERYTHING evolves, whether you believe it or not. it's a scientific fact. i'm sure you'll think i've wasted my time, but i don't feel that way. i think everyone has the right to be informed. perhaps you simply didn't know, that's why you keep referring back to the "creationism" you were taught. i for one believe you can have it both ways. i guess i just don't see God as a magician who mumbled a few magic words ("let there be light") and it happened. what REALLY happened is far more complicated and admirable in my opinion. that we arose from a primordial soup where one-celled organisms dwelled - THAT, to me, is creationism. just like an artist who works with clay doesn't just utter a phrase and a sculpture appears, but rather he or she takes a shapeless mass of clay and from that creates a sculpture. give it some thought. you might like yourself thinking... and God DID create your brain, too, however long it took.
