oh, i was beginning to wonder where, oh where your charitable contributions had gone. you're absolutely correct, stofurz - the UN was unwilling to help the united states create the state of confusion with lack of medical help for all the people that were injured in the "liberation". and as far as the UN being "useless", did you know the Geneva Convention was created BY the UN? oh, and where have we heard the Geneva Convention mentioned before? oh, yeah, when al-jazeera, among others, were showing footage of coalition POWs, the coalition cried foul, saying the Geneva Convention was violated. however, when footage of hundreds of "rebel forces" and "saddam's army" were shown on CNN, the Geneva Convention was quickly forgotten.
and as far as the US "bailing out" nations during time of crisis, save your keystrokes and go back to school and learn your history FROM THE BEGINNING before you choose to rewind a mere 60 years. or, you could just scroll back a few pages and read what OTHERS have written, rather than being so completely absorbed with your own opinions. again, job-well-done in pissing off the Forum, stofurz. you may actually finally have found something you're good at, 'cause it 'ain't the facts...
