Hormonal Inbalance & Facial Hair Growth

I am a 24-year-old female who suffers from hormonal imbalance and noticable facial hair growth. From the time I hit puberty, my facial hair has become more noticable. I was teased relentlessly in grade school and throughout high school as well. I have been waxing since I was 16, but it's become very costly; and, quite honestly, I'd like something permanent. It's embarassing to be plagued with thick, dark facial hair that makes me feel more masculine than anything else when I have VERY feminine features. What can I do to cure this self-esteem "killer"? Sincerely, "LadyHawk"
