Re: Trying to clarify the connection

Well its an erroneous connection. As I have said many times with the NHS in the UK medicine isn't the bid money maker it is in the US. I grew up in a very poor family actually, and have never done and never will any private practice.

I only argue for things that work. Duct tape over warts gets rid of them. Live yoghurt helps some people with IBS. You seem to assume that because I believe in scientific medicine I only believe in drugs. That may well be partly due to the propaganda in sites like these. It is not the case.

Unfortunately there are many people who want a quick-fix drug for all of life's problems. "Life-style" drugs make a lot of money. There is actually a lot of debate about their use in the medical profession.

I think for myself all the time - the fact is I come to a different conclusion to you.

PS just to clarify something - you had an angioplasty?
