Re: SARS Quiz by Dr.Len Horowitz

As I arrived at this page called curezone, I saw the highly visible "SARS-Quiz". As I read the reactions to it, I became
highly aware that critical reactions was met with rather agressive language by the editors. They asked people with critique to write in the "debate"-forum. I have not managed to find a SARS-DEBATE
forum.
I therefore allow myself to present the folowing view:

You imply that far less than 1 in 10 000 SARS-infected persons die.
On the contrary: For people being 65 or older 50% die.
Even with conservative estimates. (Not including false alarms.)

This make SARS to a highly deadly disease. Devestating to its
victims, and a threat to human kind.
If not curbed by streneous effort, by nurses and doctors putting their life on stake, - it would spread in an accellerating way,
with enormous numbers of deads in its wake.

Among those would clearly be my mother, who somewhat weak
and older than 65.
