Stockholm Syndrome

Trauma can induce the "Stockholm Synrdome," the identification of the victim with their tormentor. The Stockholm Syndrome was seen with Patty Hearst, who was raped and tortured, locked in a closet, and who came out a gun-toting revolutionary. That explains the mental prison of this victim. So what's the excuse for the doctors, teachers, and others who knew? May the Lord grant us the grace and the guts to hunger and thirst after justice.
