Strange coincidence

I just had a book published (Full Circle, published by Publish America) where humanity is faced with a naturally occuring pandemic. The pathogen in the novel is a great deal more virulent than the one responsible for SARS, but other than that the stories are eerily similar. The outbreak begins in China, the virus is airborne, and government officials are less than 100% honest about what's really going on. So far SARS is tracking pretty much like the novel. Hopefully they won't have the same conclusion...
