I've only been doing the Five Tibetans a few weeks, but I like them very much. They are simple and quick to do and they address some basic fitness needs that sedentary people like me have. I don't know if they do anything for the chakras, but I can tell you that help increase your core strength and flexibility. They aren't going to make you a super athlete or anything of that sort, but they make it easier to go about your daily life. The first thing I noticed when I started them was the sensation that, wow, I haven't moved these joints in this way in years and the last time I did I was much more flexible. Basically I think it helps restore the flexibility and strength that came natural to us when we were younger but have lost because we are constantly sitting at a computer or in front of a TV. Just to prove that point, my daughter was goofing off copying what I was doing and for her it was child's play to do the exercises. I think if adults do this set of exercises they will regain the same youthful vitality of children. If you go into doing these exercises with the thought that you would like to have more stramina and flexibility for daily living then I think you will agree they are terrific.
