the "expert's" view on the war is perhaps narrow minded. It might be fair to say he has been mesmerised by software warfare. He has failed to take into account Iraqi cunning and ingenuity at the human level after a generation of being at war.
It appears the United States has made a critical mistake in relying to much on its high tech weaponry and insufficient intelligence on the morale of the Iraqi army and people both of which it has been bombing intermittently since the end of the 1991 war. Now that the war has settled down the only way the coalition can win is to subjugate and virtually annilate Iraqi resistance, military and civilian,as he states in his article.
