Re: Spiritual Being seeking relationship with Divine Couple
"I have personally seen priest cast outside of the Vedic teachings cover up alot of stuff, including NDE."
-------------------------------------------------
Agreed, they don't like the perceived competition of those who would question their authority. Admittedly, I don't know much about Vedic followers, yet I'd imagine ya got control freaks/idiots/big kahunas doing it within your group, too. It's a people thing...and there's all sorts of folks that comprise and swear affiliation to just about every philosophic path under the sun. It boils down to walkin' the talk...and making a stand.

"I accept the teachings of the Vedas because they are complete and perfect. AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada clearly writes on the subject of NDE in "A Second Chance" which comes the 6th canto of the SrimadBhagavatam.org ... The vedas fully support NDE, at the same time they are not required to transcend"
-----------------------------------------
Ok, Charu, if the Vedas work for you then go with it. I haven't read "A Second Chance" and don't know enough about what's said to comment. If the guy is saying that the "second chance" is about committing to his philosophical twist on things, I'd probably have a problem accepting that little ditty as a mandate to live my life by as much as I do the "born again" christian slant. Personally, I don't feel that you, or anyone else, can tell a NDEr how to live their life....or their way of lookin' at things. AS example, many who come back from the NDE are so changed, so physiologically & psychologically altered, that they won't fit into any established path because the death trip is it's own and it's best to let 'em run and not cage 'em within other people's paradigms.
Additonally, I never said that the NDE is required to transcend. In fact, since you've been to my website and know I've clearly indicated such, I don't know why you even bring it up. Do I need to be clearer with that?
Insofar as Prabupada be concerned, it's not my Intention to disrespect OR genuflect him. Perhaps that's "why" he and I could hang out, have a chat and a cold beer. If, on the other hand, he'd prefer herbal tea, than that's OK by me, too. Ya see, I work best with a horizontal vantage point and don't want to get lost in lookin' up OR down. Sometimes this isn't always the case because I can be a moody mofo, but I'm really workin' on that. :)

"M wrote, I do not believe that someone who has actually had a NDE is gonna drop a payload of napalm.
If you think that there is no such thing as demons who want to kill anything an everything, including thier own soul, even after having unlimited NDEs .. you are mistaken in that thought process."
---------------------------------------------------
I didn't say that...I didn't imply that either. I was speaking from the point of view that I do not believe the majority of NDErs are capable of such because they've chosen other things to while away their hours. I said that when I heard a rumour which indicated 100% of a group of people claimed having NDEs and then have gone out and proceeded to drop payloads of napalm on folks that I wouldn't buy in to those statistics. Currently, as mentioned, I still await hearing from Melvin Morse who supposedly made this statement on a national radio broadcast. Not unlike Prab, I won't let his fame get in the way of my tendency to be political incorrect should I come to the conclusion he's using trumped up research data to sully the source of the NDE with some psyop that demeans the overall experience by endorsing sordid associations that would diminish the efforts to bring the afterlife message of LOVING LOVE to the world.
Insofar as the rest of your "cut & paste," Charu, I figure to let my own life experience speak for itself. As mentioned in the "Links" section of my webpage, I was one of those kids in the 1950's who was a Human Radiation Experiment for the AEC & DoD. I dont' remember volunteering, but being a good military brat my father must have figured sacrificing his first born son was part of his patriotic duty. And, yeah, dear ol' dad was a real charmer.
Anyway, most of the kids who got radiated are dead now and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that I don't cotton much to the idea that nuclear weapons (and medicine, for that matter) make for a healthier lifestyle. For obvious reasons, I'm not very objective. Therefore, I'll pass on the rest of your comments and let 'em stand as ya wrote 'em.
With that said, I think we've come to the end of the debate section of our relationship. I don't want to play anymore because it feels way too much lke it's gettin' into a pissing contest and we've got better things to do. As example, let's talk about the utility of the NDE...what benefits do you feel it offers the returnee according to your teachings? OR, what about Nikoli Tesla? Didn't he garner some insights from the Vedas? What were they and how did they apply to his inventions? What about the Mayan pyramidals or those in Egypt that point toward the Orion region? What's their function? Specifically, does Orion's belt have a hidden meaning to your clan? If not, is there another celestial region that draws your pack?
