Re: Has anyone here has had a tonsillectomy

Hi again!

About BB and BO

Have you ever tried to just tell plainly the people you are talking to that you have bad breath or bo and that you are trying to cure it. Told them to keep their distance from you if they want to, that you know about your problem and that you won't be offended if they put themselves in a safe area. I mean, when I see someone with a handicap, I just try not to look at it. I focus on their eyes instead of, let's say, the missing fingers. It should be the same way for odors. Except that with odors, you never know if the person is aware of it. With missing fingers or burned skin, you assume the person knows!

I have this feeling that the taboo is causing more trouble that the actual bb.

I am considering telling my students that I know about my bad breath, that I eat healthy and that I have good oral hygiene, but that medecine hasn't find a cure yet for that problem. I also have a sceduled appointment for a laser tonsillectomy but I don't want to tell them about it.

So, have you ever just said it plainly and how did it affect you?

TY
