Have you tried a chlorine/mineral remover that's sold in the hair care isle at pharmacies as a swimmer's remedy for chlorine build-up? I now find that also this is the only thing that will get rid of my underarm odor. Other products such as scrubs, betadine, etc won't work. My husband got such a bad odor from build-up of a shampoo he'd been using. It was a very sour, sour smell coming from all over his body. I could smell him from 20 feet away and he left a lingering odor where ever he went. We have a business together that I could see people's reactions to his smell. This went on for a month before I remembered the chlorine remover remedy. Hair stylists use it for this exact purpose. I convinced him to try this by putting it all over his body when he showered and let it sit on his skin for a couple minutes. It worked. Over the course of a couple weeks of doing this daily it is now gone.
