Mineral salts for body odor - this works guys! and a question...

I found mineral salts deodorant - great stuff! I had tried to stop using chemicals like antiperspirants (aluminum) and deodorants with propylene glycol, etc... and that left me with not much left to choose from. I finally found deodorants at the health food store that use mineral salts to stop bacteria and odors. THIS STUFF WORKS!!! It comes in a hard stone or spray, so I got both. I use the spray on my feet and inside my shoes too and no more odors - even with my summer boat shoes that don't see socks. I bought the "Crystal" brand stone and spray, and the "Thai" brand. Both work great, but the Crystal brand has Ammonium Alum (not sure if that's good or not) and the Thai brand is pure mineral salts with no other ingredients (except purified water for the spray). Virtually no residue, no stickiness, just let the water dry. I also noticed that when I'm outside bugs don't seek me out as much as when I used regular deodorants or used nothing. Ha!

Minuses: harder to find in stores, water needs to dry

* I think anything on the skin is absorbed by the body somewhat, so I'd like to hear if this might be bad - too much mineral salts in the body? Doesn't seem like it could be a problem for even heavy long term use but just to be safe can someone else chime in?
