ok, I'm somewhat new to this board to but I'll list some things that you can look into. I've read through so many posts here and it is time consuming. so, I'll list what I can remember.
HOLY BASIL; this is supposed to regulate cortisol, blood
Sugar and insulin metabolism. (the brand I'm using is NEWCHAPTER)
I just started taking this a couple weeks ago and I think I"m seeing a difference in my mood swings. I don't know what symptoms you're having but mine are mood swings, exhaustion, insmonia, not able to focus sometimes.......and on and on. sometimes it feels really hormonal. I would love to go to a ND and have tests done but I don't have that kind of m oney right now. so, for now, I'm researching and trying the best I can.
oh, and also I have panick attacks and I haven't had any lately and I just went through a move with my toddler and didn't freak out once. yeah! who knows why this is but I'll continue on with my list. and again, research it. but atleast you'll have a list to start with.
5-HTP; supposed to help you sleep. and we need a lot of sleep. I've read that it's recommended we try to get 9 hours a night during recovery. In bed by 10pm.
CALM(calcium/magnesium) or just powdered Magnesium; this is what I recommend for bedtime. you put the amount of powder in a mug with boiled water and drink before bedtime. you can also have some in the day for nerves. yes, this has really worked for me. very notable changes; more relaxed, better sleep, no middle of the night waking, and genereally calmer nerves.

I take it for both and notice it helps.
so there's a few things.
No caffiene(especially coffee), no chocolate, no sugar, nothing stimulating, no soda, baked goods.....
eat organic, drink clean water, lots of greens, look into other issues that could be contributing to this like; mercury poisoning....things like that.
look into clay baths to help detox your body.
dry brushing.
light exercise everyday.
