Re: Anyone have problems with fluid retention?
Marilyn,
I'm sorry to hear about your less than satisfactory ND. I went to two other ND's before I found the one that I am currently working with. It's been one year now since my health took a turn for the worse and I sometimes kick myself that I did not find him sooner. It would have saved me a ton of money and I most likely would have been better by now.
My current Nd is very thorough as he does a broad range of testing such as biological terrain, stool, hair analysis, vega testing, blood work and saliva. I was found to have poor digestion (a common sign of weak adrenals), fatigued adrenals of course, a toxic liver and kidneys, low DHEA, mineral deficiencies, constipated colon and a toxic lymphatic system... no wonder I felt horrible! LOL!
At first I felt sorry for my self and cried, "Why me Lord?!" But then I came to the realization that it was all of my own making, due to poor lifestyle choices, high stress and unhappiness. Once I started to own my condition it helped me to understand it better and start making strides to correct the mistakes of the past. Now all I have to do in order to get healthy is simply do the exact opposite of what I was doing before!
As far as all of the supplements you are taking, it's probably a good idea to stop temporarily and find yourself a good heath care practitioner. I tried to self medicate for months, spending hundreds of dollars on worthless supplements in a vain attempt to find a "magic cure" in a bottle. Find out exactly what is wrong with you first and then you'll be in a better position to utilize the best supplements specific for your needs. For now, stick with fresh water and whole organic foods, after all Mother nature is the greatest pharmacist on earth!

I hope that you get better soon and I'm sending out some good healing vibes to you Marilyn!
