zinc is an important mineral. the thing about zinc is that there is a very easy way to check if your levels are low. zinc status is a liguid form of zinc that explains on the bottle how to use it. you drink 2 teaspoons and hold it in your mouth for 10 seconds and then swallow. if you don't taste the zinc (metal taste) then you know you are deficient. zinc plays a role in taste (and smell) sensation.
i had read that somewhere and tried it. i have been taking zince supplements since then. i think it's always good to know before hand if you need to supplement any vitamin or mineral instead of just hoping for the best.
