The Left vs Right Charade

As far back in time as anyone can trace the practice of "politics," writers and social commentators have held one view in common, that being, that politics is more of a game of charades than anything else, designed to serve the elite and power hungry, at the expense of the citizenry, for the purpose of increasing their elitist stature and social station, their power and control, relegating the citizenry to nothing more than serfdom. The real coup d`etat in this pursuit, is to make the serfs willing participants in their own slavery, by brainwashing and hoodwinking them into believing that they are exercising personal sovereignty and participating in self-betterment and the good of all.
The Oxford English dictionary defines "charade" as: charade Sara.d. Also 8 charrade. [a. Fr. charade (18th c.), of doubtful origin. LittrZ (Suppl;) derives from Pr. charrada long talk or chatter, f. charr to chatter, babble, Norm.-Fr. charer (Scheler); Skeat compares Sp. charrada speech or action of a clown, a dance, a showy thing made without taste, f. charro churl, peasant.] A kind of riddle, in which each syllable of the word to be guessed, and sometimes the word itself also, is enigmatically described, or (more recently) dramatically represented ( acted charade). Extended also to similar sportive trials of skill, as dumb charades, numbered charades, etc.
And, Webster's dictionary defines "charade" as: chaárade Pronunciation: sh-'rAd, -'rSd ~ Function: noun Etymology: French, from Proven? al charrado chat, from charr¦ to chat, chatter Date: 1776 1 : a word represented in riddling verse or by picture, tableau, or dramatic action 2 plural : a game in which some of the players try to guess a word or phrase from the actions of another player who may not speak 3 : an empty or deceptive act or pretense
.
Between these two dictionaries, certain keywords become readily obvious: "chatter, babble, clowns, riddle, dumb, game, deceptive act, false pretense!" It doesn't take a genius to figure out, that today's characters in the American political scene, are little more than chattering, babbling clowns, utilizing riddles, enigmas and mysteries, to play out deceptive acts under false pretenses - and getting you to believe in what they are doing!
The labels make no difference, whether it be Republican or Democrat. Both are equally evil, equally deceptive and dishonest, and equally participating in the destruction of the United States of America and its citizens.
It doesn't take a lot of research to soon learn, that the Democrats and Republicans have long been bedfellows, while trying to maintain the illusion of being totally at odds with each other. Both parties are equal participants in the creation of a New World Order, via the destruction of the Old World Order. The Republicans would have the world believe that it is going to improve the old world order through its vision of a new, improved world order, as enunciated by President George Herbert Walker Bush in 1991, a vision based upon unbridled capitalism and militarism. The Democrat's declare that the old world order has always been bad, because of religious and moral constraints, excessive, unregulated freedoms and insufficient taxation, and that the only salvation for mankind is their vision of a new world order, which they say they have been prevented from instituting, because of the old world order. Their new world order is anti-capitalist, anti-God, anti-Constitution and anti-everything that made up the old world order.
Both parties have utilized every sphere of influence available . . . religious, spiritual, moral and immoral, social and financial, and even chaos. The consequence of their endeavors has resulted in almost total polarization of the participation of the American electorate. If anyone doubts that, just look back at the 2000 presidential election. The vote was evenly split, and neither Bush nor Gore won the election, contrary to some idle, deluded claims. It is important to note, that more than half of the eligible American electorate, decline to vote these days, because they are too fed up with the lying, the deception and false promises of major party politicians, who have been painting a two-dimensional picture of the world, and using their propagandists to promote the false idea that EVERYTHING is either black or white, left or right, Democrat or Republican, right or wrong. There is indeed a "third dimension" to everything. Some people need to wake-up, open their eyes and see it!
Among the sordid cast of characters in America, serving as little more than political propagandists, are people like Michael Savage, James Carville, Mary Matalin, Brian Combs, Rush Limbaugh, Paul Begala, Michael Reagan, Al Franken, Pat Robertson, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Jerry Falwell, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Rev. Al Sharpton, Michael Medved, Barbara Streisand, Michael Gallagher, Rob Reiner, Laura Ingraham, Oprah Winfrey, Rosie O'Donnell . . . . . and the list goes on, practically ad infinitum. It is a viscious, violent tug of war, of Left verses the Right, that is destroying America and many of her people - and many of these people are blindly participating in that destruction.
Well, here's a reality check for both Rightwing Fundamentalist Christians/politicians and the anti-Christian "tolerant of everyone" Leftwing politicians: Both political views are extremist politics, and totally intolerant of anyone who happens to disagree with them. That, coupled with their constant charades, makes both camps nothing more than liars, and God has this little tid-bit to share with you: Extremism is condemned in His book of the Scriptures, which admonishes everyone to "be moderate in all things," and, as for lying, He says in Revelation 21:8-9, "all liars shall be cast into the eternal lake of fire." All liars! For those of you who aren't "believers," you are in for a sad, horrible, rude awakening.
There are those who believe, that Al Gore actually won the 2000 election, and that he should be President instead of George Bush, and that if Gore were in the White House now, everything would be different . . . no 9-11 terrorist attack, no war on terrorism, no anything that they don't like. Such people are perfect candidates for a brain exchange with a retarded monkey.
One of the great smoke and mirrors charades of American politics, is that the President of the United States is "in-charge" and running the country. This nation has been run by external political forces since November 22, 1963, and no president since then has had any real, Constitutional power or control, but merely the illusion of it. Mickey Mouse, Snoopy or Garfield could have been president on September 11, 2001, and America would have still been attacked by terrorists. Those who think otherwise are those who have been massaging their derrieres in a Lazyboy recliner most of their lives, and lack the knowledge, education or experience to be bona fide political pundits.
If you've never been in the military, never engaged in serious self-education, never traveled and lived abroad, and have never delved deeply into the hardcore inner workings of government, then you have no qualifications to even form an opinion about today's political activities, let alone be a pundit. To paraphrase Mark Twain, the man in the arena who has a bull by tail, has a hundred times more information about the bull, than the person setting in the grand stand merely watching. I've had the bull by tail . . . and the horns!
Al Gore believes in Gaia, the worship of "mother earth," a pseudo pagan religion condemned in Scripture. He promotes a Socialist New World Order. George Bush believes in Mammon, the worship of money, also condemned in Scripture. He promotes a Capitalist New World Order. Both profess to be Christians. Both are hell bent on destroying anyone or anything that stands in their way, no matter what the cost, be it monetary, freedom, liberty or human life! The New World Order is a reality, and nobody is going to stop it. But God is going to end it.
During the past 35 years, there has been a serious revival of the independent political party system in America, with limited, but growing success. Unfortunately, many of these independent upstarts, are little more than minor league teams helping out their major league sponsors, the Democrats and Republicans. And, while this is not an endorsement, one of the few truly successful independent parties, is the Libertarians, whose primary political planks is "less government, less taxes, more freedom and more citizen sovereignty." Outside of that, the Libertarian party has some "unofficial" platforms, (which many people do not support) but out of respect for individual political freedoms and ideas, these planks are not imposed upon anyone as qualifications for party membership. Even "membership" is not a requirement to be a member of the Libertarian party. Just the desire for freedom and less government, a restitution of the basic, old world order, which includes "free enterprise!" While the Democrats hate anything free (except a free lunch and a free ride), they, like the Republicans, try to make the term "free enterprise" synonymous with the term "capitalism." Not so! Free enterprise is about making a living, as a free, independent, sovereign citizen. Capitalism is about greed and monopoly. Socialism is about having nothing, not even the freedom to chose whether you have anything or not.
If one is going to be a participant in independent politics, then be truly independent. Don't be conned by popular, radio talk-show propagandists, and don't hoodwink yourself with your own game of charades, by hooking onto some supposedly independent political party that is actually just another hidden tentacle of the octopus. Know whom you are following and supporting, and "why". Remember, the truth shall set you free, but be sure you know the truth, the real truth, and not a charade version of it. As the old adage goes, "He who fails to learn from history, is destined to repeat it." Get yourself off of the merry-go-round.

When Left Meets Right -
What's In A Name?

One half of one sentence in a recent e-mail from political columnist SARTRE (James Hall) to me, which read, "...what's with the Progressives?" roused me from my months-long sloth. SARTRE tends to get the creaky wheels squeaking that way.
SARTRE and I have known each other, virtually, since 1998 or so, have performed strategic service to several notable Right/libertarian Web sites; we are of like-minds on most political matters (temperament aside--being older, he's a bit more patient than am I). We've also been similarly disgusted by so-called "conservative" venues taking up the hue-and-cry of state-sponsored extortion. & so, when a question such as the one he posed comes down the pike, I listen.
To the crux of the biscuit: There's been a rush of articles at so-called Progressive web sites which, in the olden days, before the Great Confusion that was 9/11, would be mistaken for either hard-Right or genuine libertarian thought. Such a paradigm shift tends to put a spin in ones skull. Things get confusing when sites which pushed Nader in 2000 begin publishing preacher Chuck Baldwin's columns ("Johnny Ain't Never Marching Home: Throw Away the Yellow Ribbons"), or that of Texas Congressman Ron Paul. But these are strange times...
When I was young, and given to listening and believing my elders, just because they were my elders, I learned that the political spectrum is a left-right continuum. On the left, was pure totalitarian communism (Stalin); on the right, fascism (Mussolini) or Nazi-thought (Hitler). No one questioned this model. It just was.
When I joined the John Birch Society in 1985, I was introduced to a far more logical, rational and comprehensible model: that being, that the spectrum is that of a horseshoe. On the left is still pure totalitarian communism (Stalin); but on the extreme right, instead, is pure anarchy--the complete lack of government. & the chasm between both is very narrow--anarchy being essentially a vacuum (impossible to sustain, largely theoretical in nature, leaderless, chaotic, until a forceful leader takes hold, which is inevitable, and the cowering sheeple succumb to his/her wiles). No longer a dues-paying member of the JBS, the model made sense to me then and still does.
In this horseshoe spectrum, the American constitution is "slightly to the right"; the Articles of Confederation (pre-1776) would be even further to the right (and more favorable, to my tastes). Someone like Texas Congressman Ron Paul (a libertarian) would be about 3/5ths the way to the extreme right (perfect, to my view). But Mussolini? Hitler? Pure, calculated propaganda on the part of the historians and state-sanctioned political pundits. Bullsh*t.
At the core of this conundrum is Free Will. After which, all is crystal clear.
In the Stalinistic model (as in the current North Korean regime of Kim Jong-il), there is none (Free Will); all action is determined by the State; all choices "given" to one by his feudal master, largely under penalty of harsh judgement, even unto death. In a pure, anarchist model (& I've chosen Aleister Crowley as the model for this--the early 20th-century warlock), "do what thou wilt" is the siren's cry; a purely hedonistic exercise in self-indulgence, absent societal conscience. The bitch--for State theorists--is, that there is no current nation-state that espouses pure anarchy. It is only theory, and which is why the "traditional" left-right linear continuum is so fallacious.
There has never been a nation based on anarchy--for more than 3 weeks, until such time a strong-man or team of strong-men emerges to take over the dizzied Masses.
Mussolini, it is said, "made the trains run on time," by nationalizing Italy's railways system; & perhaps he did. At what cost, to those private investors and innovators of Italy's railways systems, I don't know (such is beyond my expertise and allotted time-table). Hitler's regime introduced the system of eugenics, which--given enough time--will deprive every human being of his/her basic rights (of free association, of marriage, of birth, even--not dissimilar to Red China's "one-child, no girls included" forced-abortion policy). Crowley may have called himself "The Beast 666," but he was a freedom-fighter in comparison.
And even of the horseshoe model, there are anomalies: arranged marriages of Japan (forced, and mostly loveless engagements, suppurated by relentless adultery following said marriage); the Confucian elder-is-always right model of Korea; the caste-system of India. Polygamous dependencies in Utah and elsewhere. Untold oddities in Africa.
When American "Progressives"--which has meant, historically, "socialists," of the stripe of long-ago Presidential candidate and Wobbly/union leader Eugene Debs--begin running articles by die-hard Jeffersonian anti-federalist (Ron Paul's ideological ancestors) writers such as SARTRE and Chuck Baldwin, the smart money should know that we're just about at boiling point.
In the words of the Irish poet William Butler Yeats, "the center cannot hold."
And thank God for that
