Re: Please Help - Decision on Chemo to Decide Mother's Future
Hi,
I too have
Breast Cancer and refused chemo for 2 years. I had heard such terrible stories and didn't want to ruin my immune system and have all those side effects.
I juice fasted for 2 and half months and did the incurables program 2 and half times. The tumor kept growing and growing. Apparently it was a very aggressive cancer. It makes a difference if your mother is er/pr neg or pos. Her2 neu -/+.
I finally went to an oncologist and they told me I had waited too long and there was nothing they could do. I would hate for this to happen to you mother. Treat it while they have it under control.
I ended up going out of the country and doing chemo and radiation along with chelation, immune boosters, laetrile...on and on. I am doing fantastic! But it was not until I started chemo that I started getting better. Side effects have been minor. My bloodwork looks like that of a healthy person.
The last post was right....chemo is not what it used to be. All the healthy lifestyle changes will assist her in recovering and combating the effects of chemo.
My heart goes out to you during this difficult decision making time. Remember....don't be rushed. It took years for the cancer to reach this point. You can take a few weeks to make an educated decision.
All my best to you and your mother,
Casandra
