Melanosis Coli

I have used Intestinal Formula 1 for about 3 years - it was the only formula that helped my constipation. I had a colonoscopy back in 2000 and everything looked fine. I just had another colonoscopy and was told that I have Melanosis Coli (my large intestine is Black inside). This is caused by laxatives used for a long period of time........Does anyone know anything about this condition? Of course I was told that long term use of IF 1 will ruin my bowels and was told to stop immediately. Tweet
