Quotes from Dr. Schulze's newsletter for May.

Doctor Schulze's May newsletter arrived today. The first story is about the skyrocketing rise of liver
disease in America. However, the good doctor also
discusses Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, cancer, and
Antibiotics in milk. Here are some quotes from the
newsletter:

1) 1 out of every 10 Americans has liver disease -- a
total of 25 million people. In a few years, it will be
more than 30 million. Worldwide, 500 million people or
more have liver disease.

2) A liver transplant costs $235,000, and health insurance doesn't cover it. As of today, 20,000 Americans are desperately waiting for a liver transplant. Last year, 6,207 people died while
waiting for a liver transplant.

3) Hepatitis C is a rapidly spreading epidemic which is
10 times more infectious than AIDS. 4.5 million Americans have Hep C. The lifetime cost of medical
treatment for Hepatitis C is over $100,000 -- and that
doesn't count the cost of a liver transplant. Doctors
and Hospitals are making $500 BILLION in treatment costs. More than 10,000 Americans will die of Hep C
this year.

4) The only reason the liver fails is because it is overworked, trying to process out, filter, neutralize,
and eliminate all the poisons we consume in our food,
water and air, and all of the other toxins we expose
ourselves to in the environment.

5) About one-quarter of your entire blood supply passes
through your liver EVERY MINUTE.

6) Both the #1 cause of death in America (heart attacks
and strokes), and the #2 cause (cancer) can be traced
directly to toxic livers.

7) Circulatory disease will kill more Americans this year than the sum total of ALL the Americans who have
ever died in all our wars since 1776. Circulatory
disases kill more people EVERY DAY than died in the
terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

8) 30 million Americans take over-the-counter pain pills on a daily basis, leading to complications like
stomach bleeding, and resulting in over 100,000 hospitalizations and more than 16,000 deaths every year.

9) Adverse drug reactions (to pharamaceuticals) were the fourth leading cause of death in the USA in the
year 2000, killing more people than breast cancer,
AIDS, or traffic accidents.

10) This year, over 1 million people in the USA will
be diagnosed with gallstones. About 500,000 of those
people will undergo surgery to remove them. Gallstones
affect up to 1 in 4 Americans at some point in their
lives.

Those are sobering and discouraging statistics, my friends. There's a part of me that wonders how long
our country can endure when SO many people have major
illnesses and degenerative conditions. Unless there's
a Major Awakening, a radical shift in consciousness
away from our toxic food regimens and equally toxic
lifestyles, I fear the worst.

Do read Doctor Schulze's May newsletter.
Like all his newsletters (and those of Doctor David
Williams), it's full of information that you
need to know.

Blessings,

Owen
