I use Nutrex Spirulina (which is in SuperFood) and Yaeyama Chlorella (which is in SuperFood) and spike my SuperFood with it. When cleansing if I get hungary I just mix up a nice green drink with atleast an extra Tblspoon of Spirulina. You can give yourself gas and/or diarrhea if you're not used to it, so you work your way up one teaspoon at a time. I recall drinking this 3 or 4 times a day on my juicing days.
These blue/green algae are very good for detox and cleansing. Chlorella is a metal magnet and often added to Bowel Cleanse formulas in Europe. They both are loaded with nutrients/minerals/yada yada and totally stop my hungar pains. Chlorella is also used to stabilize blood sugar. Dr. Schulze loves both of these nutrients and is very clear that you must only use Nutrex Spirulina.
