My friends home birth got moved to the hospital.

Beautiful baby girl. Pitocin and Antibiotics administered. She is being fussed at this morning for refusing shots, especially vitamin K. I told her I'd bring info to support her stance. I'm sure I saw something here.

Any suggestions? They assured her the baby could stay in room, and fussed until they got the little one out, but daddy went and kept an eye. She is "tagged" so no one can leave with her (hmmmm)without alarms going off. Any suggestions, comments, advice?

I got to be there in the birthing room and my and pushed the accupressure point on one foot while another friend did the other during contractions. The Mom was amazing. I hope those nurses/doctor etc. watching were impressed at how well she did and the baby did. Althought they did suck mucous out of the baby with a long tube.....ouch.

I ramble. Again, any wisdom or suggestions. Her good "friend' was there keeping her together, and if I weren't already past my childbearing years, I'd have all the rest of my babies with a midwife and empowered as possible (oh yea, my hubby might never have gone for that. Sigh)
