High cholesterol. Question

I have high cholesterol (277, hdl of 51, ldl of 205, trigs at 103). Since about one month I have put myself on a gugulipid formula (the BioSan one from Nature's distributors)which contains750 mg og gugulipid (standardized extract of the commiphora mukul plant) and 750 mg of Inositol hexaniacinate (the safe form of niacin). I take 3 per day one with each meal. My question is:
Can I at the same time I follow this treatment (which my doc is not yet aware of, I'll meet him next friday)use the Dr Schulze's cholesterol reduction package which includes heart formula, L-GB formula & Detox tea? Is it safe to do two different treatments at the same time?
I am a male of 51, 6 ft high for 210 lbs . I do an hour of brisk walking every day, do regular rebounding sessions eat a lot of whole food get my superfood each day. I am since three years on 12.5 mgs of a Beta blocker (Toprol)which I want to gradually stop (my BP is now normal) as it is notorious to increase cholesterol levels.
